While you want your sentences and paragraphs to be short, your overall content can be as long as you fancy – in-depth content is a big indicator of quality. If you’re not able to rank on the first page, try to write another article, focused on a (even) more long tail keyword. Make it a little bit more specific, more niche. And see how that goes. In Search Console, there’s a report called Links to your site which can show you the domains linking to you. Take a look at them – if you are happy with what you see, all is good. If you’re shocked by what you find, you will need to take further action. It is better to create a content that is user-friendly than exhaustive. Content should be easy and simple to read.

Keyword stuffing is simply the process of repeating the same keyword or key phrases over and over in a page. It’s counterproductive. It’s is a signpost of a very low-quality spam site and is something Google clearly recommends you avoid. Sites that aren’t optimized for user intent and mobile SEO will fail. For SEO purposes, you should definitely monitor the click through rates of different pages. You should be able to see the rates of specific pages on your website in Google Search Console. But just because a keyword has high volume, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be a good one to rank for. User-generated content (UGC) sites and communities are two of my favourite places to find untapped keywords.
