The first choice should be structure

The authority of the domain is important and it needs to be addressed in any walkthrough of SEO. Your website loading speed is one of the most important rankings factors in Google. No one likes slow websites, and neither does Google. I am passionate about SEO, and digital marketing more generally, but I also understand it has its pitfalls, the main one being the complex, crowded and confusing market for SEO services. In the early days of SEO, you could get a site to rank fairly easily by buying a bunch of low-quality backlinks, keyword stuffing (including the same keyword on a page a bunch of times), or by buying a domain address (website name) that exactly matched the keyword you wanted to rank for. If you can’t budget for 6 to 12 months of SEO, you might be better off putting that budget somewhere else.

Only build citations for real physical locations

It appears that when attempting to improve search engine ranking for a web-site, a position in the top six of the search engine results page has never been more important. Even web pages that currently have a top search engine ranking cannot afford to be complacent. Link Building is an indisputable part of the Search Engine Optimization process. Connecting a website to the rest of the Internet without links isn’t impossible, considering the fact there are many different content creation companies willing to do the work for you. However, the costs for this kind of work can ramp up quickly, making Link Building through a third party too costly for most new websites. Site speed, from the front end to the back end, is an often overlooked area of web development that also has SEO implications. Link Exchange is another good way for building links. However, you need to be careful with this one. I am not asking to go around ‘asking people for links’. Just move subtly with it. A sitemap is a file that tells exactly how crawlers should crawl your website. For example, if there is a page that does not get linked to your website but you still want the crawler to crawl it then you would simply include it in your sitemap file to tell the crawlers that there is something important there.

If it isn’t on Google, it doesn’t exist

Examination of content keywords and present engine rankings of competitive websites to determine an effective engine positioning strategy. Search engine optimization, or SEO, is the process of improving your site's ranking in search results. Unfortunately the factors search engines like Google, Bing, and Yahoo use to rank sites are kept secret and change frequently. Important elements of a website redesign oftentimes get pushed to the side when timeframes are constrained. One of the most important components of a new design project is to take time at the beginning to analyze current traffic to ensure current visitors are not lost. Keyword research can be done using free tools. Most blogs and websites have an overall voice that they aim to maintain. While some may try to keep things simple and entertaining, some sites are more professional. If you are hoping to tap into a place with an established following, you should create your content to match the stuff that is already there. The SEO of your website is largely dependent upon how easily and quickly your potential customers can find your site through a search engine query.

Think about SEO from the start

We asked an SEO Specialist, Gaz Hall, for his thoughts on the matter: "Even though Google search is not the be all and end all to business, having a site that ranks well for commonly searched for key terms helps greatly." Think of new ideas to expand your content, or even to invest in evergreen content, and make sure you think like a reader, rather than a search engine. How are you going to ensure that your site stands out, that it’s set apart from all of the other existing sites? This is the key to building decent backlinks in order to rank highly in search engines. SEO basically works by predicting and guessing how the Google algorithm works (because no one can be completely sure) and then using that information in order to engineer your website to get the maximum number of hits. It means gaming the system and this in turn can allow you to‘trick’ Google into believing that your site should be number one. Permalinks are the permanent URLs for your web pages, posts, categories and tag archives. It is the web address used to link to your individual blog post and web page. By default, permalinks look something like this: https://yoursite.com/p?=17 This structure makes it difficult for search engine crawlers to read and index your web pages and posts. That means you will need to make it more accessible for both search engines and we visitors.

Try to target a hungry crowd

Choose three primary keywords and have a list of others to target. When you improve those keywords, choose three more. Push your content to your social media profiles by integrating it with your blog, but don’t do it in a manner that’s “me, me, me” share other things too. Search engines also take into account the traffic generated by links from social networks. It is assumed that these so-called “social signals” can influence a website’s ranking at least when search queries relate to something current. Whether we like it or not, SEO isn’t simply “plug n’ play”, and it won’t automatically look after itself. You’d be surprised, however, at the ROI you can achieve with a few hours of focused outreach every month. The bottom line is that if you’re focusing on a small group of generic keywords, you’re probably not being found by most of the people who are searching for you. You wouldn’t build a house without foundations, and that is exactly what Technical SEO is to your website.

SEO is a journey, not a destination

Building a strong site architecture and providing clear navigation will help search engines index your site quickly and easily. This will also, more importantly, provide visitors with a good experience of using your site and encourage repeat visits. It’s worth considering that Google is also increasingly paying attention to user experience, including mobile optimisation and site speed. Keyword research helps you identify keywords that appeal to a target audience and expand the reach of your content. When you use keyword research tools, it helps you identitfy what kinds of content users are looking for on any given topic. Always make sure to prioritize time for keyword research. An important aspect of SEO is making your website easy for both users and search engine robots to understand. Be careful in monitoring your comments and delete those which you think are linked to spammy sites or to the blogs which are not of your niche. If you are linked to other sites which are of not your niche, those sites can harm you. With your website already cleaned up and shining with outstanding quality content and internal SEO methods (keywords, meta tags, etc), you should have a strategy to get your website noticed by others.
